Ya'll in Montreal?!?!?! Announcing the NEO Symposium!

Question: Pardon me, but will ya'll be in Montreal on July 5th?

Suggested Answer: But of course!

Now announcing the NEO-Tropical Environment Student and Faculty Symposium. It will be held on July 5th, 2013 at the (oh so very classy lecture hall of the) Redpath Museum of Natural History at the downtown campus of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This symposium will showcase the research of NEO students and faculty, both at McGill and at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute so that we can all learn about one another's research, exchange ideas, build collaborations, and get together with faculty advisor's in a more informal setting than qualifying oral exams, committee meetings and that pesky thesis defense! All are welcome to attend the symposium, but presentations will be limited to students, McGill faculty and STRI staff associated with the NEO program. We will shoot for talks to be for 15 minutes, with 5 minutes time for questions and comments. Please send talk titles and abstracts (and further questions) to victor.frankel@mail.mcgill.ca.

**Travel costs will be supported by all STRI staff who attend the symposium! Woot Woot!

****The meeting date is set to overlap with the Montreal Jazz Festival, for those of inclined to get blown away both by science AND music!

Woot woot! See ya'll in Montreal!
